Crazy, simple, highly addictive game, which knows its place. Do not play if you have to budget your time, or if you suffer from arthritis or carpal syndrome. Also, do not play if you need your games "story driven" or "heavy on dialogues". This is not it. But if you want to beat up battalions of crazy opponents and endlessly improve and customize your protagonist, you hardly find anything better.
Venetica surprised me. Poetic magic story placed into gorgeous environment of city, which has true glamour of old Venice, only slightly stretched into fairy tale. One of few RPGs, where 1.Can name the title from a single screenhot and 2. You can spend time playing only to watch surroundings for pure aestetics. Venetica is also extremely accessible. You never test quests, whether you are leveled enough. You never lose fight, because you did not level enough - you lose fight, because you stood too close to enemy blade. Fights are fast, dynamic, intuitively controlled and innovative. Venetica is not for Dark Souls people -that is, not for masochists. Everyone else - why aren´t you already playing Venetica?
I played Wolfenstein3D when it first came out, so this is like returning to my high school. Wolfenstein3D does not need reviewing, it was first and it changed gaming forever. Thank you for remastering.
Diablo completely missed me thirty years ago, when I was teenager. This is my first playthrough and I can´t be happier. Diablo is deservedly one of the longest enduring franchises.
