Trying to hard

This game is trying so hard to be something it's not.. :( - Yes, you guessed it.. Monkey Island. The game itself is okay, pretty ridiculous story, but that's what to expect from the game's synopsis and characters. I also felt that the game lacked flow, as you kept getting new places with new puzzles and challenges that was just more of the same. The voice-acting and graphics is what to expect from a game from era, though the controls janked out a few times, and cause of the game's perspective (FOV) you could easily missed locations and hotspots. Thus the game had it's moments were I laughed and had fun.. :) So not the worst Point'n'Click I have played

Crime O'Clock

A lot of fun, but....

I had a blast playing Crime O'Clock, though the game lacks a bit of small features, but it's not gamebreaking. I really loved playing this game, the music score was great, the graphics cute and cozy and the small references to like Star Gate, Aladin and Rick & Morty was a nice touch.. But!! It would have been a nice feature, if the AI in the game was voiced, considering how much interactions you as a character have with it. Throughout the game there are small TIMED mini-games, and it doesn't provide any tips / hints what the end goal is, meaning you'll fail them at first try, as you frustratingly are sitting and clicking the mouse-button trying to figure it out. At certain times you'll identify a villain, and you get presented a picture, THOUGH when you then need to find the person, there's no way to look up the mug-shot and the game is constructed in such a way that a lot of the characters look-a-like it can be tough finding the subtle variations.. :( And there is no achievements in this VERSION, BUT WHY? When Steam has it?! :( :( But if you like a chilled "Find Waldo / hidden object" game it's a blast..

Lucy Dreaming

A beautiful game

Lucy Dreaming screams modern old-school point'n'click game. it has amazing voice-acting, beautiful pixel-art and fun references to old games and the "joy"" of playing the PnC-games. The game has tons of hotspots to interact with and the response you get from it are just great. It feels that the dev-team have spent a lot of time on response and feedback from the different objects, making it more fun to scan a room as there is so much to explore. The puzzles are great fun and the "dream"-parts you really need to think "outside the box" in order to progress, even challenging for experienced point'n'click gamers. THOUGH sitting here after I have completed it, I feel that the latter part of the game feels rushed. It ends quite abruptly, leaving me in a meh state and with a "but there are questions I feel not answered"-state. But I can hope this is not the end of Lucy's adventures.

Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner

Bad for it's time

Taking into consideration that this is from 2002-03, it really has its flaws.. Bad movement, preset camera-angels, no fast-travles between the many places you have to visit. And for a point'n'click it really lacks to give the user feedback on how to progress, you can't look at things and expect any response. Just a picture of a thing. Though the story had its fun moments and great animations.. :) Though the above really destroys the joyment.

Unforeseen Incidents

Whole game.. But..

How can a game developed in 2018, not have the following: *No support for UltraWide resolutions as this broke the progression for me, as the part of the scene was cut off! *Can't adjust the audio (music and speech). Beautiful hand drawn scenes and quirky characters. But set aside the above issues, I loved this game.. Good amount of puzzles not being to obtuse or weird. Though it feels a bit unpolished, a few more weeks of Q&A would have caught some of the bugs I encountered. (Not game-breaking) though

GRUNND

Dark and odd

I would say this game has beautiful art, if you're into the dark Noir comic book-style. Though I feel the game could be so much more, there is a LOT of unanswered questions to the certain places you visit, the background story of set characters and part of the story. The save-system doesnt seem to work or just saves your autosave on top. Plus the game already have a auto-save. The Journal/Inventory has its flaws, you can't really interact with the items or examine the items in more deepth, which especially makes one puzzle almost impossible to solve. The controls can be very bad at certain places, hotspots seems broken at certain places and missing voice-acting in part of the game.. :( - And why when you have such a great main-character voice why not use in the entire dialogue system? I wonder.. Though the art and graphics really makes the game. Just sad above settings weren't in place, or else I would have given this game a higher score. And for the price its only fair for an indie game and I hope they will make more with this style

The Will of Arthur Flabbington

A real blast

A really beautiful made game in the OLD pixel-style graphics, great voice-acting and fun puzzles. A style of game, that I've been missing for years I really had a blast playing this game. The puzzles are ALL logical and make sense.. They can be tough, but there is no Moon-Logic to it, you just have be VERY observant, listen to the dialogue and sometimes think out of the box. So if you like and love the OLD-Style point'n'click games, this is the game for you

A New Beginning: Final Cut

Not a bad game

This game isn't that bad at all. It has a very good story about the current state of the world climate, the good and BAD power invested in this but also dilemmas surrounding the matter. Plus this is not a typical Daedalic game with obnoxious characters or Moon logic.

Dahlia View

So close..

I really wanted to give it high remarks, but due to the glitches and broken controls, I can't give it more than that. The story is amazing and twisted, and being limited to a wheel-chair adds a cool mechanics and limitation to your character, as you can't just walk around.. So you have think outside the box. The music and voice-acting is awesome and really lifts the game to a new level. So if you love a good murder-mystery game, you gotta have it, though the controls and fixed camera angels can be somewhat of challenge from time to time.
