An all time classic. It has aged very very well. "Doom-like games" was the term gamers used to give to this type of games before the term "first person shooters" was coined.
Yeah, lots of things that could and should get better, but I have played finished games that were way worse than this PRE ALPHA DEMO. Shut up and take my money! // throwing money at his screen monitor
I havent played this game in LITERALLY 20 years. Installed it now, and went into the first mission, and I started to hit keys in the keyboard as if not a day had passed, adjusting energy levels from shields and guns, going 2/3 maximum speed, targeting closest enemy, sending my wingman to atack... I havent forgotten a single key. The thing is, I thought I would have to check for some help somewhere, cause I "thought" I didnt remember... but I did. Amazing how your body "remembers" things you have done so much for so many happy hours in the past, it´s like riding a bike. So, it seems that riding a tie fighter is like riding a bike after so many years. And the game looks GOOD, I dont know how much nostalgia googles I have on, but the 1995 CD version is the best of the pack, above all because of the "interactive" soundtrack. If you have the slightest taste for flight sims and starwars and you havent played this one, do yourself a very big favor and buy this one.
High concentrations of Nostalgia per megabyte. If you are a modern gamer and you never played it back then I really dont know if it survives the test of time anyhow, but for those of us who played it in the 90´s this is one of "the classics".

People have taken to the Jack Keane 2 product page to spam it with false, 5 star reviews, in an attempt to trick people into purchasing a game that has a 69 average score on Metacritic." CMON PEOPLE, thats why we cant have nice things, cmon, seriously? false 5 stars reviews? Dont brake the review system just because you want to save 4 dollars on games, CMON.
