STUCK..., WON'T BUDGE..., JAMMED..., LOCKED.... you will remember this words than anything else in life. Game has great story and graphics (for that time). I was disappointed with the gameplay a little. I don't know if it was because playing on linux (my pc and steamdeck) but mouse aim didn't feel right. I have this feeling almost all early 2000s games I played. Other than that game feel pretty good to play. Guns and magic on both clicks feel natural. Weapons are different and fun to use, same for magic. Honestly, I used god mode to complete the game. The reason for that is, I could one shot an enemy from a distance using a pistol with a head shot but when I tried to head shot an enemy point-blank it took 5 bullets from pistol. I was having very hard time dealing with the enemies, when I learned that enemies are taking totally random damage, I just switched on god mode. This game seriously need a sequel.
It is pretty good game with good story. Only thing that bothered me is delay during jumping. It is one those game which prioritize animation over gameplay, hence whenever you need to jump it must do its animation which delays the actual jump which in my opinion bad for platforming game. In a platformer jump should be quick and should have higher priority over other. Other than that game is aesthetically pleasing and has good narrative. It get a repetitive but also do not stay longer.
