Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

A near flawless game

I would love to give this a five star review but in its current state I simply cannot. The game is amazing all the way until its final act called Arx. This act just feels unfinished and rushed so many of the encounters are unbalanced, so many puzzles that are simply too difficult to decipher without a guide because the game does a very poor job at explaining how to solve, so many quests that are bugged to the point where they stay incomplete even though you completed them, peformance is terrible in the city of Arx when compared to the rest of the game. The final fight in the game is just so terrbly balanced that guides online just teach of ways to cheese the fight. Just like original sin 1 inventory management is a nightmare. The source point system is a complete mess and adds tedium of having to replenish source points everytime after a fight. Quests are not really clear with their objectives this game just really forces you to use online Wikis and guides for a lot of its quests because the game lacks eplanation of what exactly you need to do. I still love this game it is an amazing game but for now I really recommend waiting for the enhanced edition which should fix most if not all of these issues. I recommend buying it on a sale and wait for the Enhanced Edition free update which comes out in Agust.
