Lets get it out there right now for all those 1 and 2 star reviews. Do a little research into the this piece of artwork before buying it would have saved you the time. For everyone else lets all agree that this basically isnt a game is interactive art. That tells a story through is visuals, music and sound design. Its all well done to extreme levels. Is the game short yes but then agian these days people spend 40 dollar for a bunch of tickets at the movies to see a meh of a film one time only. Its worth the price paid for it and if you are one of those types that are hesitant on it wait for it to go on sale. Over all 10/10 and for how the world is being of late i think everyone needs a bit of hope no matter how depressed they get, This helped me more than i have the words to express.
To think this game most likely would have been a success but no the company needed it to be named Prey and they did practically no publicity for it and chose maybe the worst year to come out seeing and there were alot of other games people would be interested in as well. Now that the rant is done. I can say without a doubt games like these need to stay relevent in the gaming industry. To be in almost full control of your actions and your choices, ingoring the games ending of course. Games now these days lack any real form of originality and excitment. Its all pay to win or pay to get more content that should of been in the game to begin with. I know kind of being a hiporcrate with the whole Prey Mooncrash dlc. But we can at least agree that it was very much unique. My only problem with the game is that the player character is slient not a real fan of that. But again with the reveal at the end of the game it makes a kind of sense. I could keep on going and saying how almost every part of the game was great and the detail here and there but all simple say go play it. If your worried about he cost the game seems to go on sale every couple of weeks. Enjoy a game where you have to think for yourself.
Gameplay solid no complaint is it a quicktime even game mostly? Yes it is and i was fine with that. The story in the begin hooked me i was sold after only a few minutes. The more i played the more interesting the game got i was amazed top notch writing everything. Then someone must have given the entire writing staff of the game meth or some really strong drugs because everything went crazy. |The interesting plot became something out of a dream you have while having a severe fever. The second half of the game felt like a completely different game. The relationships that you can form with other character didnt really feel very organic. Overall by the endind credits i was so confused. No i did not rebuy this game on gog. I just really wanted to let people know ahead before considering purchasing this. Because once was enough for me. I dont think i will ever forget how straight up crazy the story became/ Here is a hint. went you get the amusament park. Thats where the writers just gave up.
