I've played this game a loooot of times and it's truly a mastepiece in eveything from art, to gameplay, to soundtrack to storytelling and a MUST-BUY for everyone. Even if you are not a pro at puzzlesolving there is both a hint system and an all out in game guide so there shouldnt be any trouble for anyone to finish this gem and you do want to finish it! I truly recommend you to buy this game (and you will want it drm free!) the soundtrack itself is worth the price tag
This game is truly amazing, and while I did expect the game to be filled to the brim with great graphics, music and awesome atmoshpere, I did not expect a great game as well which I truly got. Thanks amanita!
THis my friends is a GREAT game! I just bought it and feared that it hadnt standed the test f time but it surely had!!! I'm often critical too older games (sadly..) but this game is not one of them, so if you're having thoguths about this one,don't hesitate, its not even difficult!
This game just isnt fun, its ugly, thats the first thing u will notice and the story, while might be cool (havent gooten that far into the game yet) is just thrown upon you in a unexciting way. worst is the endlessstream of boring and quite difficult enemies which u just autolock on and fire on until they or mostly you die. avoid this beast
quite biased review but thats the point with GOG, as i played ths a lot as a kid, but this game is truly funny, simple as hell, shallow as hell, quite epmpty as wel in the gameplay department but plain fun! easily worth a few bucks
I didn't play this classic until half a year ago, nor any other gothic games, but still I was amazed! the setting is really great and although the story is not especially deep and the charactares are actually quite shallow, u get a great feeling for the setting and atmosphere and really wants to seet it thorugh to the end. Had no problems with the controls what so ever and can't understand how one can complain on these. What you can complain on however are the way too few side quests and that the three distinctive factions, while great looking and unique, doesnt effect the gameplay much at all. Still, reeeaally worthwile experience which every rpg-fan should own.
