Cyberpunk 2077

Love it, and hoping for more

Honestly, I would give it 4.5 stars, but decided to round it. It is a magnificent experience, the story is fantastic, the combat is thrilling and the open world is breathtaking. But it still has its flaws. Most of the bugs I have found in my 10 hour run have been sparce but sadly noticeable. No T-posing but some NPC moving while the models are static, props such as Jackie's chopsticks, Misty's Cards and especially Johnny´s cigar have often not appeared or just floating mid air. Some invisible guns and items, such as Jackie's gun and the biochip in the taxi pursuit. AI has been great so far, enemies pose a challenge but friendly NPC do have some issues, such as idle walking during a shoot out. Stealth works just right, and combat is entertaining, even for someone inexperience in mouse and keyboard FPS. Much of the "bullet sponge" controvery is over exagerated, if they had played Borderlands or Destiny, it would be something expected as part of an FPS RPG, not something to be upset about, its just ridiculous. Cars drive nicely and really smooth, I find it enjoyable and watching the big city is really an experience. For dialogues, I have found some NPC's standing where not supposed to, such as Johnny after talking to Tom, and when he just dissapears mid sentence if I look away. Guns do sometimes take time to appear when switching but I am playing on a 12GB 2060 Max Q, 10th gen i7 laptop, so I do expect some load time inconsistencies. This was my first day 1 purchase, and I am not dissapointed. I have seen what CDPR have offered, and even if the product is not finished, I believe they had the whole intention in delivering the product they envisioned. Fan excitement and possibly investor pressure led to a premature release, but I know they can polish most of it eventually. We waited almost 10 years, we can wait a few months. Sorry console players for the problems, but I am sure we will all enjoy ourselves in Night City, just be patient. Thank you CDPR, keep working on it
