i grew up on cyberpunk and i love a lot about it but....its still a broken buggy mess and some of the quests would have been considered bad back in the 1990's. the ai has auto aim, the driving phsyics are as a shooter its too arcady for me. i really wish i could say better as again i do love a lot about the game but at the end of the day the game is still just broken and buggy and not a finished product.
so... all the complaints you've probably heard about this game are true. it doesnt run very well even still, some of the missions are atrocious or have 1990's like mechanics to them and there is really only one main way id ever build my character playing in a more realistic fashion but... i still think the game is pretty phenomal overall. i was into cyberpunk and shadowrun as a kid like few others and being able to roll up in virtually the same cars, the same guns, the same cyberware in a world that actually does capture that cyberpunk message and vibe was something you wont really find elsewhere and mods helped me to lessen some of the painful aspects. there are still a good range of options available and if you do everything with the dlc you can run well into 200h plus so there is plenty of stuff to do and some decent tunes to listen to. last (fairly) quick thing i feel i have to say? you do still feel overpowered but your kinda supposed to be op as a character being the city enforcer/bounty hunter/corporate espionage dabbler/contractor type character. i mean you are the guy they call to take out things the cops/corps/gangs may not want to deal with and i personally kinda felt that way with things getting more serious from time to time which was still a fun pace altho i wouldnt mind a bit more challenge and better ai etc next time.
