Not great, not terrible... the gameplay can be tedious, but... still holds. Mostly because of the story :)
Except a few cases where the controls a little bit lackluster it's still a great game even in 2025 :)
Ugh's review basically summarizes the game well. The idea is great, the start is awesome, I really like how Obsidian prepared skills and attributes... but it all falls flat the longer you play the game. Thankfully it's only about 20 hours long, so you can finish it no problem. You just probably won't return to it...
You can clearly see it's a product of its time... still better than most AAA games nowadays.
Your biggest adversary is the absence of Quick Save. Big no-no in FPS with platforming...

Even not as hard if you play on lowest difficulty :) Soundtrack is also woth the price on its own.
When I was thinking whether to give this game 3* or 4*, I thought to myself - it wasn't that bad after all. There were a lot of things I didn't like, but overall I can't say I didn't enjoy my 20 Hours in it. Go ahead, give it a try.
