Despite its jank and its unforgiving rating system, Slave Zero X is my favourite action of 2024. It wears its inspirations on its sleave while also being original enough to stand on its own with style. Even when its at its most frustrating I still find myself coming back to do another playthrough, lab new combos or do another run of the Crimson Citadel. I believe its worth picking up despite its flaws but keep in mind they are still there.
I apologize in advance for the title of this review. KILLBUG is a simple but fun horde shooter with Titanfall like movement. Just running around in this game feels fun to me. Its quite easy to jump into and start a run which makes it quite addicting.
