To simplify this game has 4 aspects that pop up to me. Exploring, combat/action, story/writing, and storytelling/presentation. Exploration could use a lot of polish. If you're just going from A to B it's fine but if you want to look around, complete side objectives, and find clues it's slow and gets tedious fast. Combat is the best part of the game. Not excellent or anything but out of the whole package it requires the least work. I enjoy it enough. The story is passing at the best of times. Obvious tired cliches, childish writing, soulles characters. But it would be a good enough frame for an action game if it wasn't for... The storytelling. 1/100. Holy s**t. The cutscenes are attrocious. This story should've been told diegetically similar to half-life. Putting the player on pause and focusing solely on the writing puts a spotlight on all of it's flaws, awful puppet rigging, terrible face models, etc. The whole game needs polish but fixing this one aspect alone would make the experience a hundred times better. Robocop fan? I guess you can buy this, the action's alright and you get to play as Robocop. Whoop. Fan of narrative games? Hard pass. Fan of action games? Softer pass, but still a pass.
