Best rendering of D&D aside from the 2nd. Buy it. Buy it and play online with an active, intelligent Role Play community that is always on, always waiting for adventure! ENDLESS replay with all the different character classes and races. One could study the magick alone for a lifetime. Easier than ever to play ~ GOG.com has made the issues NwN once had with multiplayer, keys, etc. FAR LESS ANNOYING than when it released. So people may complain about getting their keys, but it's fast enough & works perfectly, be patient and play single player for a night. Servers like Arelith, Sinfar, Amia, etc, etc keep this game fresh with player made content that is more oft than not better than the bioware story just because the people are real. If you enjoy 3-3.5 D&D this is the best way to play it, as the computer does all the work & you are left free to Role Play.
