Interesting story, nice characters, basic gameplay, challenging "combat". On the other hand, positively obtuse, horrid, non-sensical environmental puzzles that can even soft-lock the game. Couple that with the obscene check point save system and you have the player abandoning the game - 3 hours in. I really wanted to see the story to the end, but the game does not respect my time (of which I have plenty, mind you, being retired) and my efforts. Having been devoured by rats one too many times - because there are no torches around - it's a bit too much.
