I really liked the reboot, New Order was fun to play and all, but hell - New Colossus is like New Order directed by Quentin Tarantino. I'm not much of a FPS guy, but I played this because of the story, the gags and all that jazz. Loved it and returning to it every few years to have some laughs and tears. Great stuff.
All time classic and the first of the new era of Doom games. It's not that demanding as the Eternal is, also good for casual player. And the hard core ones too!
What else to say than it's absolute classic. Yeah, it's not all polished and AI can be sometimes not as intelligent as you would expect, but this is a part of videogame history. HD version looks good and don't intervene with the original game.
W40K is here jsut as a background, you really don't get the vibe. If you tell me it's another postapocalyptic shooter I would say yeah. Doom style arena fast pace action is alright, but it becomes monotonous after few chapters. Some story is there but it's not very fun. You'd be better playing Doom. Not worth it.
