This game is alright but it's letdown by the awkward controls. The 8 directional aiming hardly ever covers the angles that enemies can easily shoot you from and in order to hit a majority of them on the corner of your screen, you have to hold another button that keeps you dangerously stuck in place. Several enemies rush at you from both dies faster than you can shoot them with most weapons and you are inevitably forced to melee them or lose all your powerups that you need to beat the boss in a timely manner. The music, art, and overall presentation are nostalgic but this game is nothing special and worth passing on.
