I was introduced to this game through MandaloreGaming's videos and was immediately intrigued. However, this game isn't to be played without the TFix mod, which, aside from fixing bugs and whatnot, has presets for more friendly controls that you can tinker with. The story, and especially the atmosphere and setting intertwined with Mr. Garrett (one of the best characters in video games), is just great. I'm probably wrong about some things, so bear that in mind. Regarding difficulties, Hard and Expert add more objectives, pushing you to see more in the game. On Normal, you don't rescue Basso the Boxerman from Cragscleft Prison and therefore won't get Garrett's reference to him in the sequel. There will be a few more enemies and slightly better AI, which might suck for more casual gamers. I wish I could say I'm having a blast, although I have enjoyed my experience with Thief Gold, this isn't the game I feel like I am skilled at. There's a tendency to get turned around and bogged down by terrible layouts and awful objectives (Thief Gold fans should know what levels I'm referring to). Please, though, if you have more patience than I, absolutely buy this!

Runs great, haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs (any at all, really). The game itself, with its mechanics, is a little hard to get into for some. You may find yourself wandering around for half an hour absolutely stumped, I must admit. However, it's great for those seeking an immersive roleplay simulator. (10/15/2025 - Meant to update this review but forgot about it) Disco Dancing Elysium's greatest strength lies in its storytelling, combined with sublime music and voice acting. The people of wartorn Revachol make it feel real, like a place you could find in the world today, maybe even in your own neighborhood. Harry DuBois's story is tragic, but his friendship with the Saint Kim Kitsuragi is more powerful. Never mind the political jargon that characters ramble on about; this is a story about heartbreak and friendship, the past and moving on. Wherever you are in your life currently, this game will make you cry or at least have your eyes water inevitably. 5/5 RPG. It's a shame what happened with the studio, but that won't stop us from loving the game, right?
