-it Holy goodness gracious I love this game. The combat is engaging and doesn't fall into the trap that the Mario and Luigi RPG games fall into where you constantly spam the bro moves (Skills, in this game) because of how much more limited the resource is. It's such an incredibly balanced game that puts a lot of emphasis on standard attacks and item usage. My favorite part is the story. All three of our main characters are so fun and charming that I desperately wanted to see every piece of dialog they have. Their motivations are consistent throughout and the way they grow as individuals through their special request quests is so wonderful. The music is amazing. I would heartily recommend listening to it outside of the game. Whatever vibe you're wanting, this game has it. Fun and upbeat battles, to difficult boss fights, funky tunes, chill, desperate, creepy, comforting. This game has it all. I would honestly say this game's soundtrack rivals Undertale in terms of it's consistent quality across the board. In terms of criticisms I do have a few. Doing diagonal overworld actions on keyboard is unintuitive. If you don't release the up/down and left/right keys on the same frame, the character's last state will be in either up/down or left/right. Forcing you to have to stay in a walking state up until the action is taken. Which isn't entirely easy, because there is a short delay between hitting the action key and the action being taken. It's not an egregious delay, but it is noticeable and can lead to frustration. This game likely controls better on a controller in general. My other critique would be a few noticeable glitches every now and then. Stuff that I wouldn't really know how to replicate. This game is honestly amazing. I love it so much and I am so incredibly biased in that. Even with my criticisms, i don't feel like they take away from the overall experience enough to warrant knocking a star off. I advise everyone to play this game. 10/10
