Hypnospace Outlaw is a great example of simulated nostalgia wrapped into an entertaining mystery puzzle style game. The lore and gameplay are top notch. I feel the only lacking point of the game is the ending. Although the ending is decent enough it feels lacking in closure and also somewhat insulting to the characters that get hit hardest by what happens in the end of the story.
