Witcher 3 is about a man who kills things for money. He loved one lass but then slept with another, claiming amnesia (that old chestnut). Anyways, holds a smelly letter in his pocket from his ex like a creep, then has to work with her to find another lass who was like a daughter to him, which is good because otherwise he would owe a lot in child support.
