I love the story elements intertwined after the dungeon runs, the narrator really brings the story to life for me. Gameplay is varied by taking a different family member on a run, this is a good thing as each character has a skill tree you can advance as you play. Gameplay is balanced when playing solo, havent tried co-op, though I'd love to have a friend to play this with :'( Art is pretty, if you on the fence but like Rogue-Lites and pixel graphics, JUST DO IT :)
The animation and level design in this game is magnificent. But the combat isn't an after thought either with difficult combat which makes the rewards all the more whorth while. If you were a fan of the top down zelda games on the SNES/GBA then this is a refined work of art taking that stye to new heights.
A really enjoyable game, it you let it then the immersion really takes hold and you feel like you really are talking to an AI. Very clever programing to be able to immerse me 90% of the time. There are a few hickups with the communication every now and then but I found it really enjoyable and easy to overlook!
