I loved this game when it first came out. It got to be that with modern machines it was simply not enjoyable to play. This mod adds just the right improvements to make the game not simply playable but truly enjoyable again. I highly recommend it.
I have a great deal of nostalgia for this game. It was played by a group of my dear friends at a time when it was considered a fairly new game. Many of those friends have since passed. Sometimes I fire up this game just for the memories it brings. It is indeed dated and the AI is rather bad against a player with a decent sense of strategy. Still, a pleasant game to play and I recommend it unreservedly.
