The game does actually launch and allow me to play it unlike the last bunch of games on GOG (SF Alpha 2, Mortal Kombat 1, 2, & 3, few other games but I will not refund because I love the idea of DRM free games that we own!) However, the audio cuts out for 2 seconds every 10 seconds. Unplayable like that. My sound works perfectly fine using: -Brave browser watching youtube videos, Amazon Music, Amazon Prime -Audio playback in Davinici Resolve, -League of Legends -Guild Wars 2 -7 Days to Die -Dark and Light
Upon trying to start the game for the 1st time it said I needed to install direct play. Clicked to install it. Upong clicking it, nothing happened. Then my task bar would no longer pop back up when mousing over. CTL ALT DEL refused to come up. Had to force restart my pc. pc specs: Windows 10 22H2 CPU AMD 5800X3d GPU AMD 6950XT RAM 32Gb 3600 cl 15 DDR4 (8X4Gb sticks) PSU 1600 Watt Superflower Titanium OS Hard drive Samsung NVME 980Pro 2Tb Game Hard drive Samsung NVME 980Pro 2Tb Is there a way to get the game to work?
I try to start MK1 or 2 or 3 and the same thing happens. It tries to open the game then it just closes. I went into properties and set compatibility for Win 95, then Win Xp, & set to run as administrator and it still doesn't run. My guess is Microsoft once again found a way to lock down windows and make it less usable with older software.
