Baldur's Gate 3

Miss, miss, failed, 1

So much potential, but ultimately ruined by degenerate DnD rolls mechanics. How can you plan a battle in a tactics based game when all you ultimately do is rely on luck? I totally didn't expect the combat to be the same as Divinity, but I was at least expecting the same level of reliability: in Divinity, misses are rare exceptions, but in BG combat is absolutely random, and this makes it frustrating and irritating. The story, variability in approaches you can take, versatility of stats and perks, in other words, everything about this game except combat and rolls (whose concept is idiotic by default). Guess I'm done with this game for a while, or maybe even until they make combat mechanics more reliable.

Broken mechanics ruins the gameplay

The game is very appealing in terms of game design and entourage, but everything is utterly ruined by flawed game mechanics. You will like it if you are not looking for a challenge, but if you are, then constant shots through solid obstacles by the enemies, when the game itself says there is NO LINE OF SIGHT will piss you off. Had to drop it just because of this seemingly minor issue which destroys all tactical efforts. Also poor optimization: the game isn't that technologically advanced to show such poor performance.
