It starts peacefull, like the old classic, a ship and some asteroids to shoot down. Soon, however, it will turn into total chaos with projectiles flying everywhere, enemies arriving from ever side, and in addition, a boss will show up. Nova Drift is a great game, both for the hours long sessions when trying to beat your previous topscore, or just half an hour of destructive mayhem. Its a game with nice progression, and even after unlocking everything, it can still be great experience where sometimes all you are left with are the remains of your ship, but no clue as to what destroyed you, because there is so much that could.
I have been playing this game for at least 6 years already. And I keep coming back to it to relax, and instead I get stressed out like when I was playing it for the first time. Beuatiful game with a steep learning curve, but great gameplay and the best sound track I have heard in any game.
This game had a wonderful launch, as perhaps many people already know. I wont say the game is perfect in the state it is, but it has the potential to be. The organic city building, together with raising armies and maintain a economy results in a lovely game, that scratches this particular itch I never knew I had. All in all, highly recommend it!
