Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

millenial writers or chatgpt?

disclaimer: I played on very hard, male V =APOGEE sandevistan + kiroshi ORACLE + hand cyberware only (nomad blackhand philosophy), female V = cyberdeck + hand cyberware + kiroshi only (corpo) cons: -become a sidekick/comic relief for spies, constantly reminding you they are better than you -hand held then tap on your back (backseat then cheers) -forced gameplay, subtly hidden QTE, forced gameplay style -spoon-fed info dumping on characters motivations, feelings, thought process as if the player had no empathy -one dimensionnal NPCs whose only depth is self-doubt -BBEG being mean is evil because -no analysis/thinking required from you , don't expect any from V -Main quest is just james bond movies/Mission impossible plot stringed together (no originality) -plot "twists" are obvious and lackluster -borderline interactive movie -plot holes -immersion breaking NPC -forced non removable cyberware for two incoherent missions ( and very poorly written) -last mission gameplay is boring (but reinforced balckhand philosophyto be correct) -lacks agency in main quest, can't side with BBEG or double cross everyone -bravado like millenials write it, not like in the real action movies -very heavy handed on sympathy strings to tell you who to side with Pros: -awesome artistic direction, music, scenery etc -interesting psychological and philosophical themes -good mix of side mission type -endings (still faithful to the philosophical theme of the world) -airdops are a fun grinding, farming, gameplay loop
