The game itself is pretty fun, but the original game has a very limited field of view, which makes the gameplay feel overly careful. Especially since the view down/upwards is *very* limited. This, in my opinion, doesn't really feel right for a game marketed as fast paced. I think JJ2 had this just right. I would personally recommend getting the open source engine recreation "OpenJazz" since it will allow you use a custom resolution, bringing you a JJ2-like experience to JJ1.
