Its 2018 now and dispite complaints at release, the game still is way too unbalanced to enjoy. Some quests you have to fight like 25 well-trained and uber armed enemies vs 4 (the 4 being you) from both sides, while hardly being able to move around. The only way to continue is either win the fight, which is almost impossible wnt even after 10 enemies killed you run out of pots and explosives, or survive for 15 minutes, which is even harder given the massive amount of enemies. And thats's at "normal" difficculty. The devs promised to balance the game but apparently they abandoned it instead.
At releasedate the game didnt start and it took 2 days before a patch finally made it possible even to start the game. The first 2-3 hours were nice, but then i found out that it's repetitive and has close to no elements that a game should have. The entire game is nothing more than exploring, gathering resources to upgrade your weapons/tools (which you already max out in less than 4 hours) Billions of planets, but only 3 races (and no humans, guess they procedurally disappeared), every planet has the same space station and buildings, every building has one npc that never leaves his chair... There are a lot of technical issues that make the game crash even before it's fully loaded. Hello Games isn't responding to support request anymore, and completely fell silent. No updates, not even news about wtaht the plans are with this game, so 90% of the players already left the game. My advice is to stay away from this game since it's definatelty not worth tha AAA price.
