Voyager Elite Force is one of my favorite games of all time, but I am disappointed with this Gog release. The Virtual Voyager expansion pack crashes back to the main menu when I try to switch decks. When it came out it was cool because it was a bit like Half-Life, but Star Trek. I wish Voyager got even more games but at least we got a really good one.
This is the first game I've played in the Divinity series, and as a newcomer it is totally awesome! I haven't played this type of game in a long time, I thought it was a action RPG like Diablo. Divinity Original Sin 2 is a turned based strategy game, like Pillars of Eternity and Bauldar's Gate. I wasn't the biggest fan of Pillars of Eternity, I thought it was way too difficult! Divinity has the right mix of challenging gameplay with multiple solutions to its puzzles. It also has the best isometeric style graphics of any game, ever. The graphics in Divinity are stunning. It's an open world so you can move the camera or zoom in and out as much as you want! The story is pretty good too , the combat is super challenging and fun, sometimes it is a bit tedious to watch the CPUs turn, but all of the animations are so well done and the music is so good it doesn't seem like a chore, my only complaint about this game is that some of the sound effects are a little loud. I play with 2 huntsmen characters and a rogue and a tank, and man the combat is also addictive! I've played this game for over 120 hours and I think I'm on the 3rd chapter. As I mentioned, the music in this game is amazing, the adventurous tunes will make this feel like a true quest. Divinity Original Sin 2 is one of the best cRPGs ever made!
First game I bought on GoG, worth it for the extra additions like better CG and improved music. I loved this series when I was a kid! I own the original Mac version boxed and an old Mac I can play it on, but still wanted to get this version. I think Pegasus Prime holds up better than JMP2! I like how you can use the arrow keys to move. I was kinda disappointed they changed the music in the opening cinema, but the enhanced music in the apartments won me over. Worth playing if you like Sci Fi and are a fan of the Journeyman Project series!
I really like this game. Didn't know it was on GoG that's awesome because I had problems getting it to run even on a windows XP computer. I think the dialogue in this game is pretty funny. When you die: "Damn I was starting to like that guy, in a distant hands off sort of way." It may not have aged that well but for the time the graphics were good, colorful, lots of gibs when you run over enemies. For the price this is a great game check it out! 5/5
