The original Dawn of war and it’s excellent expansions are the best warhammer games ever made bar none and after being abandoned for years and being kept alive by the amazing modding community relic finally gave us this excellent remaster first off the game runs way better than anniversary edition the game runs in beautiful 4K with no lag or crashing on my gaming laptop with 16 GB ram and GTX 1650 graphics card so you don’t need a beast computer to run it also dawn of war is not complete without mods and right now mod support is hit and miss with some mods having UI and texture issues and others being fine the two mods I recommend for definitive edition is 3rd generation for dark crusade and Advance campaign for Soulstorm both of those mods work well with definitive edition more mods will be made compatible in time and I can’t wait to see what the modding community will do with this remaster overall This remaster was long overdue and is the best way to play Dawn of war and with 64 bit support future modding will take this game to the next level highly recommended
Okay let’s just come out and say it Dawn of war 2 is not anywhere near as good as the greatness that’s dark crusade and soulstorm but it’s still a good game in it’s own right and has a kickass skirmish mode and good graphics so as long as you don’t compare it to the original dawn of war games Dawn of war 2 and it’s expansions is still a good warhammer game Also this DRM free gog version runs perfectly on my windows 11 gaming laptop and is also compatible with the excellent Codex mod which adds three new factions and is great for skirmish play I highly recommend it Highly recommended
It took a lot of heat over the years and although it may not be as good as new Vegas but fallout 4 is still an excellent RPG in it’s own right the graphics still hold up today the voiced protagonist while often criticized I thought was a great addition and the settlement building is really well done But where this game really shines is the mods there’s so many mods available you can really customize fallout 4 to your hearts content with additional maps companions weapons and much more This DRM free version from GOG is great yes there’s no creation club or built in mod store but this is DRM free for a reason just go to nexus mods they are free and safe to use and have their own mod manager and have a way better selection of mods than the bethesda mod store and all of my nexus mods work great on this version and my steam saves work flawless too Awesome work GOG Highly recommended
I’m a big fan of CRPGs And am a big fan of divinity original sin 2 Pathfinder wrath of the righteous and the classic baldurs gate games and Baldurs Gate 3 is definitely the best western RPG I’ve ever played Even better than the RPG Greats like Skyrim and fallout the graphics and freedom of choice really make this game great baldurs gate 3 is huge and There’s so many things to do and areas to explore plus the split screen coop feature is amazing as most RPGs let alone most modern games these days lack this feature and it’s awesome that you can hook up two controllers and adventure through baldurs gate 3 with a family member or friend Also it’s awesome you can play as a Drow as they are rarely playable in dungeons and dragons games larian really did Dungeons and dragons and the baldurs gate classics Justice with this great game Highly recommended
It’s been years since the original dawn of war games released and they are still the best warhammer 40k games of all time Dark crusade and Soulstorm are masterpieces Unfortunately this GOG release has some issues Dark crusade crashes when clicking on the commander tab after beating the first stronghold and soulstorm crashes on the stronghold missions but you know what I’m just happy to have a DRM Free copy of some of my favorite games of all time and thankfully this GOG release is compatible with the amazing advanced campaign mod Hopefully GOG will fix the crashing issues in the future Despite the crashing I still highly recommend this collection of warhammer 40k classics
I loved this game on ps2 and it’s awesome that it’s available on GOG controls are decent for an old game and it runs great on windows 11 Gameplay and graphics still hold up Fire warrior is way better than many 1st person shooters that come out today Highly recommended
The GOG DRM Free version is definitely the best version of Skyrim It runs great and it works with all of my mods from nexus vortex so I can confirm that mod’s definitely work it also includes all of the anniversary edition content from the creation club Highly recommended
Relayer is an awesome mech Tactical RPG the storyline is emotional and well acted The graphics and art style are great and the soundtrack is killer I haven’t been this invested in a mech game since front mission 3 Plus it’s so refreshing to have a female protagonist for once in a JRPG I love that you keep your experience even after losing which makes advancing much easier and keeps grinding at a minimum And if you need more experience you can play extra battles to get more experience but I haven’t had to do that so far Terra is a good protagonist and her quest to save Luna is well Written I hated luna at first but after learning her backstory I really sympathized with her I won’t spoil anything else but the story is definitely well done and having full high quality voice acting really brings the characters to life the game has full controller support which is an awesome feature There is also a new game plus mode and post game content so there’s many hours of gameplay and storyline packed into this game which is rare in modern games Relayer runs great On my gaming laptop with 8 GB RAM 4 GB VRAM and Ryzen 5 processor So it runs well on entry level PCs Highly recommended
