I used to play this on the original PS1 back in the early 2000’s. This game has aged tremendously and while I respect the original Dino Crisis, time has been far kinder to its sequel due to the pre rendered backgrounds and accessibility. It’s a BREEZY game and it pops. It’s a shame this was a one time thing for Capcom because mechanically Resident Evil, Onimusha and Devil May Cry ended up filling the action/horror genre and this IP lost its identity. Kudos to GOG for revisiting it. Also noteworthy this was directed by Shu Takumi and it’s success greenlit him to make the Ace Attorney.
