I don't think anyone is purchasing this off of GOG to play it for the first time. We've all played this before and enjoyed it. People are buying this from GOG because they want to own a copy that they can play all they want for years to come and not worry about the servers going down and making this literally unplayable. Any game that forces DRM and refuses to let go of it years after the initial release is doomed to go extinct. Codename 47 is 20 years old and you can still play it without any problem but will you be able to play this 20 years into the future or it will share the same fate as literally every online game after the developers decided to shut down the servers?
