I have played a few RTS games in the past but none was able to capture my interest for very long, except this game. By far my favorite RTS of all time. It's quite simple with some cool units including the commander unit which needs to be alive and is very helpful. The verticality plays a role here, using higher ground to fire at enemies below is a good thing. Also the music! Because it was an audio cd basically I listened to it out of the game and when the battle music kicks in you feels the rush. It might not looks the best for today's standard but the core gameplay and music is just as good as ever.
