Loved Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Liked Wolfenstein the Old Blood and the New Order but this version of the game or episode in the saga just plain sucks. The gameplay is simplistic, the story line woke AF, and the characters are nothing like the versions of the same characters in The Old Blood and The New Order. The Old Blood and New Order are woke AF too and that's irritating but at least the storyline was half-way decent and the gameplay engaging. This version is just lame. I gave two stars instead of one because it still has some semblance of the older versions so... meh.
I have never seen a more awesome game!!! (Though I'm not very experienced on the matter) Still awesomely awesome!!
GOG is a hero for making this title live again. What a great game. Although I prefer singular FPS games to squad/multi-player games, this game bridges the divide nicely. I enjoy it thoroughly and like the way in which you can see the gameplay from multiple viewpoints. The fact that you can upscale the graphics to a suitable level of definition is a nice add too. Good job GOG!
A real blast from the past. Love these games more than many other more modern ones.
Personally, the quests are what make it fun. If you don't have enemies to kill, then building an awesome dungeon seems pointless. For as old as this game is, it is well executed and the graphics aren't horrible.
