The Real Texas is a very "strange" game that take place in the town of "Strange". It took me 3 times to get into. I don't know why, maybe the strange graphics, the "text-interface", or the fact there is not a clear guide of what to do at the beginning. But, at third try, I realized that all of this "flaws", things, were in fact strongs. - The graphics are a bit strange, some seems "paint"-drawn. But, it keeps everything clear and not overloaded. - The text interface may lose the player, but when you dare to use it, and try some words or verbs, you may be stuned by the very deep and various answers you can get. If you push it, you may discover some very interesting and mature (!!) side quest with bring a lot of depth in the game's characters. - At last, it's an RPG, and you are free. In fact this game is not so diferent from a classical zelda-rpg-like. But with both mature and psychadelic contents. The music is also very interesting. Sometime very strange, but everytime well worked. There is very few reviews, youtube's "let's play", etc and so this game seems to stay in the shadow of the modern indie games movement. This game deserves more attention and consideration, you like it or not.
