The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition

Boring Combat, Tedious Travel & Systems

As a fan of fantasy RPGs who is new to this game and series (no nostalgia), this game just isn't fun. Combat consists of repeteadly clicking the left mouse button. Walking around takes an eternity, and the map is difficult to read or outright misleading. Understanding the level/class/gear systems requires outside articles, videos, etc. because the in-game explanations are insufficient. Since it's an old game, the graphics aren't a redeeming quality. Even the storyline meanders with weak momentum.

Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

My Favorite Game

To this day, I haven't played a game I enjoy more. Everyone I've introduced to this game (male or female, child, teen, or adult) has enjoyed it without fail. There is an option for hotseat multiplayer whereby up to 8 people could play the game together on the same computer, which I have used countless times. The random map generator adds infinite replayability. Game mechanics are engaging, full of depth, and straightforward to learn. Old as it is, the graphics/artwork still look great, and the music soundtrack is masterful. I can't praise this game highly enough.
