Not quite to the level of its predecessor, the puzzles in this are practically non-existant and the incentive to explore is also gone. This leads to a lack of world building. The combat is improved and more fleshed out than the original, which is fun. Tension is maintened through combat and having many enemies come at you at the same time. The plot leaves a lot to be desired and much of it is just a string of conveniences, but on the other hand there is very little chaff; the game is very linear. Would recommend if you liked Resident Evil 3 over 1.
