Dead Space™

Great game

Excellent title with good gameplay, a phenomenal setting with great atmosphere and an intriguing plot. Unfortunately the vsync locks the frame rate to 30 and there is no way to fix this on laptops.

BioShock™ Remastered

A timeless classic

Yes, the last quarter isn't as strong as the rest of the game, but those three quarters are some of the best game I've ever played. The story uses the medium and the players expectations so expertly that it manages to create some of the most unforgettable moments in any game. Combat wise it's still good, although the sequel does trump it in this regard. I think that's enough said, everything I could say has already been said, so what are you still doing reading this review; just buy it.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare

Too repetitive

No spoilers, but the design is really repetitive. The pulp style is nice, but it's really nothing special. If you liked the main game you might like this too, even though the story is significantly weaker.

Alan Wake

Solid, but not great

The game plays fairly well, although there really isn't much depth in terms of combat. Story wise it's quite engaging and interesting. Overall it's worth a look if you like these types of games, but it's by no means a must-play.

What Remains of Edith Finch

Incredible

This is one of the most emotionally resonent 'games' I have ever played. The sheer creativity is astounding. Every story is presented in a way that is touching, engaging and intriguing. Truly a phenomenal experience that I'll remember for quite a while. It is a little short though, but I promise this is something you want to try out.
