Nox™

A classic but underrated RPG

Nox is one of those games that few have heard of. An obscure game due to the legend of Diablo, but for those who have played it, it became a favorite fast. Nox is a great hack and slash game that brings in various elements from other RPG games of the era and uses them perfectly. The three storylines are fun and each class is unique. I was overcome with glee when I realized this was brought to GOG. I had lost my serial number for my discs and forever wished someone would bring this great cult classic back.

RollerCoaster Tycoon® Deluxe

Hours will fly by

RCT is one of the greatest classic tycoon games. You get to control your parks and create the most brilliant coasters. Watch as your visitors ride and react to your creations and park design. It is addictive and very enjoyable. The expansions add even more fun.

Empire Earth Gold Edition

An Epic Strategy Game

Empire Earth is quite the epic game. Going through the ages and exploring the units that come from each of them is a blast. From the ancient times to the future you will use and battle with units such as ancient soldiers to mechs and robots. EE proved to be above the rest at its time with great features such as random maps and large (and I mean large) maps. The AI will provide a decent challenge and you will keep coming back for more as the game is easy to get the hang of. It definitely fits with classics such as Age of Empires and Rise of Nations.

Haegemonia Gold Edition

An underrated bright spot in space RTS

Haegemonia may not be a big hit but it is a great RTS. Homeworld may conquer the space-based RTS genre but Haegemonia tries to expand on what Homeworld did. From the expanded research to managing planets. All the things in the game have counters and the technology will either help you win or be your demise. It's up to the choices you make to determine who will conquer the systems. And for a game made years and years ago the graphics still hold up to this day. The music is another great spot as it gets more intense with the scale of the battles. With epic music, large explosions, wreckage floating all around, and laser fire, this is a must if you love space RTS games.
