I never bought it, never played it. It's just another modern game that screams politics, so it's obvious why I would never touch it. I can't trust to buy newer games just by how it looks anymore because of this. BUT... at least GOG is way more honest with their tags. On other gaming platforms, sometimes certain, "political" tags are not included even though it contains such content. This is why I love GOG despite games like this being on here. It shows respect instead of setting up traps.
Another game with that ugly personality that gets used a lot these days. Some of the characters act like modern generics where they come off like there's a spot light shining on them 24/7 while using unnecessary grammar and words with condescending attitudes. It's not impressive and just annoying. The personalities are far beyond unrealistic for this game's atmosphere. Right off the spot, "What did you expect? An entourage?" over a dead body. ... Why. It's cringe because it's forced to impress and people know it. It's like modern cartoons where the characters are always making so-called witty remarks on everything they encounter and do. It would be fine if it wasn't so constant. Again. It's cringe. This is why I'm passing on all modern games from these devs. Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity are amazing to me because the humor actually fits without sounding like it's trying hard to make people laugh or feel, "mature". Anyway, I wish this would stop taking over games and shows.
I will not touch this. I cannot express in any words how much I'm getting tired of seeing remakes of masterpieces. Most of 202X is about why and how along with impatient comments, but I'm still the same as I was before 2000 hit. I figure things out on my own and only ask questions in a non-condicending manner when needed. The original Wizardry wasn't meant to be fair to you, it made you think before you acted. You didn't do repeatitive button mashing while assuming the situation will turn out okay. From what I read in the comments about this new Wizardry, it seems the developers are trying to stay somewhat faithful to how it was played in the original. Honestly, if people wanted the original, they wouldn't turn to this, they would play the actual original unless graphics were really THAT much of an issue to them. These constant cases of searching for nostalgia by remaking titles is starting to get, "old"... ha.
As an old-fashioned man who vastly prefers older games, I'm going to admit that Terraria never gets old for me. I'm VERY careful with the games I choose to play because of how some of the, "world" has geared. Anyway, this is definitely a survival craft game but not like another Minecraft clone. I really can't call this a Minecraft clone because of the major differences between Terraria and Minecraft. It's a 2D side and vertical scrolling survival craft that doesn't feel empty and has a ton of creatures to fight off. There is also a huge amount of items to find and craft including equipment. The sword is not the only type of weapon in the game, so there's a lot to choose from for your personal tastes. There's all sorts of materials to build your base/house with too from dirt to rainclouds, leaves to metal. It's all about what you prefer which is the #1 thing I love about this game. Different NPCs will move into your homestead depending on how many rooms with the appropriate accommodations you have built and you can choose who can live with you too. Last, there is a whole lot to do and you'll always have goals you'll want to accomplish. All and all, Terraria is worth every penny of it's price.
When I first played Sacred Underworld, I pretty much had a hard time getting back into Diablo 2. Then I ended up finding out about Sacred 2 Gold, picked it up and started to play... wow. I've never been so addicted to a game in my life that it's become one of my top favorite games along with Sacred Underworld. Sacred 2 is so open and doesn't have a lot of boundaries. You can go almost anywhere at anytime. Character developing is also a plus and has a huge variety of choices. With the CM patch a lot gets fixed in the game. I prefer to play with the Enhanced Edition mod found online, but it's not needed at all to enjoy this game.
Some prefer Skyrim bare vanilla which in all honesty is still very fun, then you have people like me who are mod users/developers. At first the GOG version of Skyrim AE could barely be modded but after several months and the VERY MUCH appreciated work by mod developers, Skyrim GOG has become compatible with 95% of the mods you can find online. No more worrying about updates and other things. Not only that, Skyrim GOG runs so much better than other versions. I barely get any FPS drops with the mass amounts of mods I use.
... I vastly prefer the originals, especially knowing they're complete. I'm not too familiar with Square Enix but I have played a few great console games by Square (or Squaresoft) and Enix before they merged. Games like Final Fantasy 1 for NES and Dragon Warrior 1 and 2. I was more of a Commodore Amiga player with games like the Pool of Radiance series, Ultima, Abandoned Places, ect. and didn't play consoles very often. DS 1 & 2 are two games that I most likely will play even when I hit 70 because they're the type of games that never get, "old" along with you, ha ha.
