BG3 is obviously an incredible game. Character creation allows such depth of customization. The characters are well developed. The mechanics are smooth and enjoyable. The game nicely reflects D&D but makes good choices to adapt it to a video game. The game is aesthetically beautiful. The amount of choice and player agency to choose different paths and the fact that so much of the game is voice acted with great cinematic cutscenes is just mind-blowing. The story is interesting and immersive. And the ever growing list of easy to use mods just makes it that much more awesome.
