While it's not as good as the other 2 STALKER games, mainly due to it's barely working faction-war system and really weak second half of the game, it still has its strong points, like well made and refined maps, improved gunplay and interface.
While there are a few minor issues with the game, like bad voice acting (hilarious at times) and slightly lower difficulty (compared to CS and SoC), Call of Pripyat is the most open and free of the bunch with it's huge maps, LOADS of side-quests and choices that shape the main story. There is NO other game out there that manages to combine survival-horror and open-world like Call of Pripyat.
This is not a racing sim, nor is it an arcade racer - this is a hybrid of the two. The good parts - there is a great sense of speed, which makes the ride very tense and exciting. This game also has above-average engine sounds and amazing damage detail. The bad parts are the controls and physics - often you will flip because of the tiniest bumps, your car will spin out because the game often can't tell how much you are turning or braking (even when using analog controls). Overall it's a fun game, just resist the urge to treat it like a serious racer.
