Cyberpunk 2077

Aging like fine wine, like AMD FX did.

I first had a look at this, and played a bit, at a friends house, and up front, i was totally blown away by how gorgeous the world looked and it's clear why it took time. Moving around in the world felt a bit off to me at first, gun play felt clunky too, and it felt as though i would never get the hang of that. However, probably around one hour into the game, and i didn't even notice those first impressions about controls any more. I was now totally immersed and LOVING the experience. Now that i got the game myself, it feels a ton better than i remember it feeling the first time i started playing at my friends house. I haven't noticed any problems, and the gameplay, for me, is as smooth as butter rolling around in a got frying pan. Just delish! So, couple the fluid and sensible controls of the game, with the stunning, eye catchingly gorgeous game world, and you can easily lose a whole evening playing this game and then realize you were supposed to be in bed four hours ago. As to the complaints at release, well my friend never said anything, and i can't recall anything game breaking. Then again, i've been gaming since the Atari 2600, and have seen pretty much everything by now. There was legitimate complaints, but even those cases were nothing we hadn't seen before. At times reading reviews, it felt like some were piling on for the sake of piling onto something. Obviously issues and problems were always going to be resolved, but i think many forgot that CD Projekt Red aren't some massively wealthy corporation like Activision or EA, who by the way, dragged their feet long enough on some pretty major problems throughout their own histories. It happens to everyone. Anyway, in ending.... buy it. Play it. You'll come to love it too. Oh, now they got these game assets done, their next games should see much smoother releases.
