I've been playing through this with my 6yo brother and we've been having a great time! There's a lot of variety, the different zones introduce new environmental mechanics and the bosses and in-level challenges are very dramatic. Fun combinations of weapons (yet to unlock new ships but excited to!), great presentation and overall a great game to play with anyone, especially a loved one who can't manage titles that rely on you being "videogame-literate".
