Adding 5 stars to counter the NOISE! Don't know this game, don't know anything about it. But I *DO* know the prequels and *LOVED* them for the classics they are. Came here to read reliable reviews and see nothing but NOISE from whiners about pricing. If it's too steep for you, walk away. You can pick it up in 10 years at your local Walmart. Until then, you have ZERO rights to flame a 1-star review on a game you're too broke to own. It's a 70GB package and wants a GTX 1060. If you're too broke to shell out $60 for this, you're too broke to own a machine that can handle it. I want to see GOG flush the lame reviews and muzzle your childish asses.
Best $60 you will ever spend If your idea of walking through a screensaver is exhilarating. Otherwise, one hand-crafted planet would be vastly more interesting than the impossibly bland tech demo NMS is.
Imagine Sim City and The Settlers, combined. Two classics merged into one dreamy, well-polished and smart package. It doesn't get much better than this. The entire experience is smooth and well-produced. Lovely graphics, terrific performance and a smart, sophisticated UI make Banished among my new favorites. If SIMs are your thing, get this now.
Developers take note, this is how to make gaming fun and engaging. This isn't for the CoD crowd or any of the Ritalin kids, LoG will welcome you into its depths and penetrate your psyche. Set aside a weekend, turn off the lights and put on the headphones. It's old-school time and it ROCKS!
