Despite having sunk many hours into this in the nineties when I was around eight years old, I actually don’t think I ever fully completed it back then. I think I got stuck on some of the more difficult puzzles (Chinese checkers and pinball for sure) and just kept backtracking. It wasn’t so easy to find support and solutions back then! I was thrilled when this game popped into my head the other day and I found it here, so bought it along with the second one which I never actually played. I just completed this one and loved it even more than I thought I would. I generally don’t enjoy dated/indie/retro style games but the nostalgia combined with my completionist drive got me hooked. Now I can’t wait to give the second one a go!
