Looks to be very hard for F2P players

The game itself is really great, everything I loved about Gwent in the Witcher 3 with lots more content added on. Unfortunately, right now it feels extremely pay 2 win. This probably has to do with the small playerbase, but after I hit level 7 and beyond I’ve faced almost exclusively very expensive decks. The problem is these decks are strictly better than anything someone who hasn't spent money can make and it feels very discouraging to get repeatedly smashed into the ground by these decks. The way the game is currently structured it looks like any F2P player will either have to sink almost all their time into the game, or grind up to one good deck. Another unfortunate bit is that you can’t really pick what good deck you play, it’s just up to whatever you happen to open. I wouldn’t mind sinking $20-30 into the game, but even sinking $50 into the game looks like it will only give you enough cards to play good decks for maybe half the factions. Seems like it could be a lot of fun, but also seems like it could turn into a massive cash grab. I’m holding off putting any money into for now and sadly probably any time since I just haven’t had fun since I started to get smashed by the expensive decks.
