Okay, I know you special snowflakes feel entitled to complain about a great game and signal its flaws. I do agree that bugs and other inconsistencies do tend to be annoying. However, people seem to forget that the Witcher 3, Skyrim, and so on were also plagued by bugs and annoyances during their first year. Only later through refinement could we enjoy the masterpieces these games are. Cyberpunk is the same, the potential is great and is being acted upon. The open world is alive, every nook and cranny offers something. The character design and progression system are superb. Rarely do I feel encased into a a specific way of playing. We can not deny that Cyberpunk takes a page out of the book of Shadowrun and the father of the cyberpunk-genre, William Gibson. However, where Shadowrun tends to satisfy hardcore gamers, Cyberpunk entices us with a 'create your own adventure' and 'live on this world the way you see fit'. I am confident that the refinement which made Witcher 3 one of the best games of its time, will also be applied to this game. Congratulations CD Projekt and thank you for the hard work, long weekends and tolerating an insufferable fan-base.
Summary: 3.5/5.0 Story-driven space opera RPG with dark humor elements and an interesting character cast. Game design and writting are outstanding during the first two parts and lacking on the last part. Difficulty is acceptable with low learning curve, though combat tends to feel repetitive after a while. Sound design and music are above average for a game of this kind. Overall: □ F$#ckn blow your brains out! ■ Great addition to your library □ Buy on discount □ If you must... □ KiLL iT wiTH FiRe! Difficulty □ Souls-level □ Hard but rewarding ■ Casual □ Plays like Fortnite (for kids) □ Can't even be called a game, more like a VN Story □ Mind blown! ■ Highly Entertaining □ Not too shabby □ An elementary school paper is more enjoyable □ What is story? Sound □ Masterpiece ■ Everything falls in place □ Nickelback □ Lil' Wayne □ Reggaeton Computer requirements □ Can run Crysis at Ultra (PC Master Race) ■ Decent gaming rig □ Straining, but not quite □ Runs on command line □ Runs on a pregnancy test Detailed Review: There is a saying in the games industry: Obsidian writting and Bethesda engines. This was proven truth for those who had the fortune to play Fallout: New Vegas. In this case, the writting is still outstanding, while the game engine shines on its own. The game can be defined as a western-opera, storywise the first two parts of the game are exactly what you expect from Obsidian RPGs: refined, well-written, great world lore and intriguing characters. Unfortunately, the quality startss going down on the last act at which point you can rush through the missions, get the ending and a clap on your back and move on. That's it, you just get a clap on your back, but no feeling of emptiness or desire to keep playing. I specially enjoyed the cast of characters, though too much attention was given to a particular 'sexually-not-defined' character at the expense of the others. No doubt this was made to cater to all SJW degenerates. Cannot write more than this...
