It's a good game, has a solid story and plot with interesting characters, plus the concept of different timelines adds a lot of good stuff to this game. I only have a few complaints that made the experience not as good as I would have hoped for it: The gameplay itself is alright, it does the job for conveying the story well but it's basic at best. There is also a lack of voice acting that I feel is lacking in this game, especially since it's so story driven. Overall its a good game but compared to other games which are also story driven I think it deserves this rating.
Yakuza Like a Dragon is a game that has quite a good story, engaging characters, dark themes (with Ichiban's magical touch), and... wait where is the refined and awesome combat system from the previous entries that the series was famous for? Oh yeah, it has turn-based combat instead. If anyone here has played any Turn-Based combat game in the past you know what is coming... removal of skill based combat in favor of a combat system that is very heavily dependent on your character's level, not your skill level, plus good old RNG. there isn't even any ATB its the most pure Turn-BBased combat out there. I had to install a mod that restores the old combat system from the previous entries to make this game somewhat enjoyable, shoutout to Jhinro. I am glad the other Yakuza entries that don't follow Ichiban don't use this outdated combat system.
