The gameplay is engaging. The atmosphere, especially during the first few hours when the player is learning how to manage the town and deal with factions, is fantastic. After a few hours, the game loses some of its charm and becomes less challenging. Increasing the difficulty level could help, but I’m not sure if it would make the game more interesting or just harder and more time-consuming. It’s a decent game, worth playing for fans of city builders and Frostpunk 1. Hopefully, the DLC will bring more late-game content and more faction conflicts.
It is really great game if it comes about story and narration. Gameplay is a little bit cluncky but ok. I would give 5 overall if not bugs. During first hour of game I encoutered invisible person at cutscene, smeering (heads, shoes, car wheels only for some reason). The game limits FPS to 60. It is not perfect but worth to play due to really great story.
